WHY ENROLL IN THE CASITA PLAYGROUP?
Our program is thoughtfully designed to allow children to learn through music, exploration and play. We have an inclusive environment that allows children and their caregivers to strengthen their bonds and discover the world around them - together.
Our playgroup classes are a holistic experience that exposes children to music and movement, sensory exploration, and school readiness skills such as early literacy, numeracy, socialization and practical life.

1. Music and movement
Our core tenet follows the very cornerstone of music theory and therapy; rhythm and melody inspires movement, movement inspires creativity, creativity inspires learning.
Finding their own rhythm to the beat of their own personality, children reap the powerful developmental benefits of music through dancing, playing with instruments and singing along to original Zumbini® songs. Not only will your children enhance their gross and fine motor skills, but they will also unlock their creative potential and tap into their natural aptitude for music. The process of making music and moving to music deepens a child’s joy for learning.
2. OPEN-ENDED SENSORY PLAY
We believe that learning is a journey, not a race. Adopting Montessori and Waldorf principles in our classes, we allow children to learn at their own pace, make their own discoveries and find their own interests. We think they learn best in this way.
We give children the space and opportunity to “work” alongside each other and fully engage with their natural environment. We provide invitations to play, discover and richly interact with others through sensory exploration, heuristic play, and STEAM activities.
3. early foundational skills
Our playgroup classes help children gain independence, build character and develop socio-emotional skills in a fun and exploratory way. They are also introduced to early literacy, numeracy and practical skills to ease their transition into a successful and well-adjusted pre-school life.

A 45-minute accompanied class that combines music and movement activities of Zumbini® with heuristic and sensory play, baby massage, and basic baby sign language.

A 60-minute accompanied class that combines the music and movement activities of Zumbini® with circle time activities and sensory exploration.

A 60-minute transition class that combines the music and movement activities of Zumbini® with circle time activities, practical life skills and sensory exploration.

A 60-minute unaccompanied multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural class that combines circle time activities, story time, process art activities, sensory exploration, games and practical life skills.
